Following our recent announcement that we will be sponsoring local Manchester football team – Irlam FC – we are delighted to introduce you to Jack Lee.

Panel Warehouse will be sponsoring Jack to help with his training while he is studying at college.

Player Profile

Position: Midfield

Jack Lee joined Irlam FC from local junior football spending his schoolboy years playing for Irlam Vale JFC and also representing Salford Schoolboys FA at U14 & U15 level touring the USA with them in 2012.

After successful trials with Irlam FC in June Jack has been an ever present in the Academy team and has performed to his usual high standard.  Jack is known for his hard work and character as well as his football ability.

In the latest game versus Hyde Egerton Academy (29^th September, 3 – 3) Jack played out of his preferred position at Right Full Back due to injury / illness in the squad but still performed very well showing his versatility and quality.  The game was started very brightly by Irlam who took the lead within 7 minutes and continued to outshine their hosts for much of the first half.  However, Irlam dropped their guard for 10 minutes before half-time and found themselves going in 3-1 down at half-time.  Credit where credit is due, the young players performed superbly well in the second half bringing the game to 3-3 and had a couple of further chances to seal the win but it failed to happen.

The U18 academy sit second in the league table 4 points behind the leaders Chester FC yet remain unbeaten in the league this season.

Jack continues to progress and impress and we see Jack as a big player for the club in the future.

We’ll keep you updated with Jack’s progress throughout the season
