Location is the key to a great trade show

You’ve made all the arrangements for the trade show, including buying the exhibition boards, display panels and perhaps a set of large format banners which will attract new customers to your stand. So what can you expect when you arrive at the hall?

If this is your first trade show, you may be a little apprehensive about how  it will unfold, and this may include wondering where your stand will be at the venue. The right location can make a big difference  to how many people will visit your stand, so try and get your application in to the organisers early, which may help you when it comes to a choice of location in the hall. The same applies if you are planning to attend an outdoor show because you will want to make sure that your outdoor stands are in a good location.

The front of the hall is obviously the best place to be, because everyone entering the venue will see your display panels and exhibition boards as soon as they arrive. If this is not possible, try and book a space which has a high footfall. For example, if you can request your outdoor stands and display panels to be located near a café this will guarantee a lot of people will be passing, so your large format banners above the exhibition boards will be sure to catch their attention.

With a little forward thinking you can make sure that the trade show is a success for you and your company, so get those order books ready and have a great show.
