Other uses for room dividers and office screens

As the name suggests, room dividers are generally used to divide rooms. They can be very useful in breaking up a workplace where different departments are going to be working alongside each other on the same floor.

Although a room divider screen is primarily designed to help clearly define departments within a workplace, they can also be used to display important information and images.

Employers are required to display important information to their employees such as health and safety requirements and legal obligations. Using a room divider screen as a place to display this information is an extremely efficient use of space.

Screen room dividers can also be used to display sales targets or other important company literature. For example, if the company specialises in delivering customer service to the public, it may be useful to display pictures and slogans relating to the most important customer service pointers staff should deliver to customers. By having these posters and pictures displayed in prominent places on the dividers, employees will be able to glance over and refresh their memories if they are stuck on how to help a customer while on the phone.

Photos of staff achievements and team building days can also be displayed in these locations. If one member of staff has exceeded their sales targets for the month, this is a great way to encourage the other staff to try harder with their targets in future as they could have their photo up there next month.
