The Versatile Office
The modern office needs to be a flexible space, especially considering that the old idea of what makes an office doesn’t really stand anymore, and much of what happens in an office is now done online or via the telephone. With this in mind, it is important that an office is capable of adapting to the whims of modern business at a moment’s notice, and on a simple level this means the space itself should be versatile.
There are lots of ways to increase the versatility of an office space; for example, you could bolster your office with certain features, such as flip chart easels, which can turn your office into an environment conducive to presentations and brainstorming sessions. However, by far the most dramatic way to transform an office space at a moments notice is to incorporate office screens.
Essentially, office screens allow you to partition your office without the need to tamper with the architecture of the building, and therefore they are the only way to go when it comes to adapting an office for a temporary requirement.
For example, perhaps your office is playing host to a team building exercise, which requires an open plan space, however your office is partitioned into private work areas. Well by removing your office partitions your office space can adapt to you rather than the other way around, which really enhances the usability of the area.
Alternatively, you might require temporary private working areas, in which case office partitions could be incorporated at short notice to create private areas, perhaps for study.
