Planning For Your First Exhibition
If your company is about to attend an exhibition for the first time, there are some things you should take into consideration. With a bit of forward planning, the Exhibition will go smoothly and you will ensure potential customers get what they need from you.
First of all, think about the display stands you will be using at the event. Do you know what size of budget has been allocated for the display panels and do you know if you are required to buy display stands which can be used at future events? This is important because if your company is planning to attend as a one off, it may be worthwhile purchasing low-budget promotional stands just to get the job done.
The next thing to think about is how the staff will deal with the event. Have they been trained for the exhibition? They might need to be aware of sales and lead targets and also have all literature and props needed. Another thing to take into account is concerned with the exhibition stands, and setting them up. Have a rehearsal before the event. Although most display panels are relatively easy to set up, it’s worth having a run through to make sure you’ve got it right.
Once you have done all this, give some thought to the minor details. These are often the ones which can create issues on the day of the exhibition. For example, have one person who will look after the laptops, ensuring they are fully charged and set up for your display on the day.
