Tips For Your First Trade Show

If you are about to go to your first trade show with your company’s products, you may be a little concerned about what to expect there. It’s probably best to rent a small space for your first trade show as this will allow to see how things go, without spending too much money in rental fees.

This first time you exhibit, you’ll learn a lot about what works for you and your products and what doesn’t, and what you’d like to change for your next show. Seeing other exhibitors’ displays and ideas will inspire you to develop various ideas for your own display panels, so it’s a good idea to keep your trade show expenses lower while you learn.

Having a smaller plot doesn’t mean that you will lose out on potential business, as you can utilise the space by using the most effective trade show displays which will attract people to your trade show booth.

One of the ways you can do this is to create open exhibition stands, making a space people can enter comfortably without feeling trapped. It’s all about communication, so bear this in mind. If, for example, you place a table across the front of your trade show booth and stand behind it, it’s harder to draw people in and get into conversation with them.

Make sure that you have literature display stands in a prominent place, as this will let people pick up a leaflet even if they don’t choose to come in to your display stands.
