Hazel Blears Visits Panelwarehouse.com

We have had a special visitor at Panelwarehouse.com recently to show around our offices and factory, to see just how well we have coped with the pitfalls of the recession. Labour candidate for Salford and Eccles, Hazel Blears, accepted our invitation to visit our business to show her how we have thrived during the economic downturn.

Despite the economic difficulties, we have seen unprecedented growth during the recession at Panelwarehouse.com – especially through our online trading division. We have specifically seen an increase in enquiries and sales for room dividers and office partitions, as people look to expand their office space without moving premises.

As we have slowly come out of recession, advertising budgets have also steadily increased. As businesses look to generate income through trade shows and expos, so we have also seen an increase in demand for display boards and exhibition panels. We’re delighted to say that Hazel was impressed with our set up, and we’re looking to use our growth as a marker for future expansion.

Michael Rappaport, our chief executive, said: “We were delighted to welcome Hazel to our company and show her around our offices and factory. We wanted to take the opportunity of making her aware that, despite the recession, UK manufacturing is alive and flourishing in the Salford and Eccles area. Our staff all appreciated the time she took to speak to each and every one of them.”

Hazel added: “I was delighted to visit panelwarehouse.com and meet all the staff who are doing a brilliant job trading in these difficult economic times. Their commitment to quality and customer service is so impressive and they deserve to succeed.”
