Create play areas with room dividers

If you are running a nursery then you are likely to have a large open space where the babies and toddlers play.  Managing the space and the children can be quite a task.  Some children will want to play with water and paints, while others will be content to sit and play quietly in their own world.  Babies will need to be kept away from rough and tumble toddlers and there will be little ones that want their mid morning nap.  In an open space it can be near impossible to meet all these needs at once.

However by using room dividers you can create different spaces within one room where you can accommodate the different needs of the various age groups.  The first space you might want to create is that of a baby area where babies under 12 months can play safely without getting inadvertently bashed or trod on by exuberant toddlers.  Here you can sit with babies on their activity mats and even put them down to sleep knowing they are secure and shielded from the rough and tumble.

For toddlers you may want to create specific areas.  There may be a need for a messy play area where you can set up water play and an area for paints and easels.  This may be next to the basin to that tiny hands can be cleaned up later.  You may also want to create a quieter area where children can read books and play quietly.

At Panel Warehouse we have a great range of room dividers to help you create any room space you need.
