The importance of objective setting

An important part of the exhibition planning process is to assign key objectives.  Taking part in an exhibition particularly a national one is expensive so you want to make sure you make the best use of your time there and that everyone knows what they should be doing.

You wouldn’t contact a potential customer without having objectives and doing your research now would you?  Attending an exhibition is no different.  To keep people focussed and motivated it’s always good business sense to set targets and overall goals.  For example what is the main purpose of attending the show?  Is it to launch a new product?  Perhaps you want to hit a new market or is it a branding exercise?  Choosing the overall aim will change the way you approach the design of display panels and display stands and the type of literature and products you display.

The graphics and message you use to communicate your reasons for being there will all be affected by your overall objectives.  The style of the design may change depending on the emphasis on either product awareness or brand awareness.  The display boards may be designed to focus purely on one particular products and therefore one type of audience.  On the other hand you design may become more formal if you are trying to convey your professionalism and brand values.

You have a limited amount of time to hook in a customer so you need to get your design message right.  At Panel Warehouse we offer an impressive selection of display panels to meet all exhibition needs.
