Artwork Specification for Pop Up Stands
You can choose to create your own graphics following the instructions on this page or alternatively, for an additional cost, we can design them for you according to your specifications. Please call us on 0845 634 0525 to discuss further if you prefer us to design the artwork for you.
If you are going to produce your own artwork for your Pop Up Stand, please follow these instructions:
A. Please supply your artwork in the following Apple Mac File Types:
Freehand, Illustrator, Quark or Photoshop
B. We do not accept the following File Types
Powerpoint, Word or any other Word Processing packages.
C. Quark
We recommend that you save your artwork at quarter size (25%)
Please ensure that any scan resolution is sufficient and that the proportions are correct.
We will require a list of all fonts used.
Please also supply a laser proof or PDF.
Set Up the document size as the size of the complete graphic area for example: a standard 3 on 3 pop up stand 2225mm h x 3365mm w - 5 panels each @ 2225mm (h) x 673mm (w)
D. Illustrator
It is advisable that the resolution in "Document Setup", sub menu "Printing & Export", is set to at least 800dpi and that "compatible gradient & gradient mesh printing" is checked if you have used gradients in the file.
E. Resolution
A pixel based resolution of 100dpi at finished size will produce a very good end print.
F. Drive Formats
Your complete file must be on one disc only. DO NOT SEND YOUR MASTER COPY.
G. Final Sizes
Please ensure your document is in proportion.
Ensure input resolutions do not drop below 72 dpi (at printed size).
If you require large areas of black on your graphics, please ensure that it is made up of the following specifications - 100% Black plus 50% Cyan, 50% Magenta & 50% Yellow (this will reduce a banding effect).
H. Pictures & Scans
A minimum output of 100dpi (final size) is required.
Please convert files to CMYK including Duotones.
Please save scans with a preview file (preferably as an EPS file).
It is important to use large format transparancies - 35mm will not reproduce well on large format printouts.
I. Fonts
Please make sure you supply all fonts (both screen & printer fonts).
J. Colours
Please use CMYK colour for all artwork.
IMPORTANT: We do not use Pantone colours. However, if your logo has a specific Pantone colour, please note this on the proof and we will try and print it as close as possible using CMYK output.
