How to choose the best stand space part 3

posted on: December 31st, 2009

Once you have selected the best position and decided on whether you want to opt for space only or a shell scheme you’re still only a part way there to finalising your selection.  A big consideration is how big to make the stand space as this will obviously have implications for your budget affecting the amount of display stands and display panels along with graphics.  It will also have an impact on what you can do on your stand.  A bigger space gives you the opportunity to set up product demonstrations and freestanding displays without appearing to clutter the stand.  You can also build in space for a seating area to talk to customers and display literature.

To help you decide refer back to your exhibiting objectives and the constraints of your budget.  These will give you focus when deciding on the dimensions.

Some companies like to book a large stand space as they feel it communicates to the market that they are a major player.  Others will calculate the best stand size according to what they want to display out of their product range.  If you are looking to hold demonstrations using a large piece of equipment then you’ll need to book a large space accordingly to ensure that customers can also comfortably get onto the stand as well as the person demonstrating.  You may also need to allow for space to cordon the equipment off.

A wide selection of exhibition products including display stands, display boards and display panels can be found here at Panel Warehouse.
