Taking care of our planet |
It's important for companies to recognise their environmental responsibilities. It's more important however that they physically do something about it. At Panelwarehouse.com, we are doing just that. How, you ask? Let us give you a quick guide to how we are living up to our green credentials: |
We manufacture using eco-friendly materials |

Fabrics |
All the fabrics we use are produced in accordance with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1 eco-certification. The Oeko-Tex system ensures that fabrics, which have passed tests and been certified, do not contain concentrations of substances that could be hazardous to human health. Read more about the system at www.oekotex.com. |

Adhesives |
The glue used to stick fabric to our panels/screens is a non-hazardous water based emulsion adhesive. This means it is safe for our staff to use and, in the unlikely event of any spills outside of our premises, is completely friendly to the environment. |
We recycle just about everything |

Packaging |
All of our primary packaging used for despatching display panels and office screens is 100% recyclable. This includes cardboard, foam padding and bubble wrap. |
Aluminium |
| We endeavour to keep any wastage to a minimum, particularly with our aluminium. Any aluminium not used is recycled. |
Plastic |
All of our plastic extrusions are 100% recyclable. By extrusions, we mean all of the plastics we use to make our display stands and office screens e.g. joining strips, connectors, c-shapes, etc. Any waste plastic is re-ground and re-used. |
Paper |
| Office employees consciously make an effort to utilise the paper recycling bins provided by Salford City Council. These are emptied on a weekly basis. For more information on this initiative, visit www.salfordcity.gov.uk. |
Printer Cartridges |
| Panelwarehouse.com takes part in The Recycling Appeal by providing all of our used printer cartridges, which in turn, helps to raise funds and protect the environment. For more details or see how you can support this appeal, head over to www.recyclingappeal.com. | |
